Happy Dìa de la Vieja (The old Woman's day) haha.
Celebrated in Spain, the first Thursday in Lent, end of March.
Every Día de la Vieja the Spanish take to the countryside to Picnic in large groups with family and friends.
Traditionally they take with them a hand-made paper doll (Old Lady) stuffed with sweets.
Children than stone it until the sweets are revealed. Yes it sounds very strange! haha.
Just like a Piñata used at childrens parties.
